Michael Douglas and his son visited Ukraine at the invitation of First Lady Elena Zelenskaya. In the capital, the actor took part in the Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen.
Dylan Douglas, the son of Hollywood actor Michael Douglas, spoke on social networks about his impressions during his visit to Kyiv in early September.
He and his father visited St. Michael’s Golden-Domed Monastery, saw an exhibition of destroyed Russian equipment, the Memorial of fallen heroes on Maidan Nezalezhnosti and the Alley of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. We walked in Vladimirskaya Gorka park, enjoyed the views of the Dnieper and visited St. Andrew’s Church. In addition, they tasted Ukrainian dishes at Evgeniy Klopotenko’s restaurant.
Dylan shared photos from the trip with the caption: “It was the adventure of a lifetime and I felt very lucky to live in a country where there is freedom and peace.”
He also noted that he recorded a new episode of his Young American program, where he will speak in more detail about his visit to Ukraine, ending with the words: “Glory to Ukraine!”
