An express train carrying about 200 passengers collided with a tractor-trailer that crossed a railway crossing.

Near the city of Köping (Sweden) on the morning of September 23, a high-speed passenger train collided with a tractor, injuring 15 people. SVT reported it.

It was learned that an express train with about 200 passengers collided with a tractor and trailer that crossed a railway crossing. The train traveled several hundred meters before it finally stopped.

Because of the incident, 15 people complained of pain in their necks and legs that were hit as a result of the unexpected braking of the train. They were taken for further examination to a hospital in the cities of Västerås, Örebro and Köping.

The passengers, who had no complaints about their health, were taken by bus to the station in Köping.

It was reported that rail traffic on the branch will not resume until the morning of September 24, which will affect the routes of some trains and regional electric trains. Traffic will also be limited on Highway 572.

Recall that in the United States, a freight train crashed into a semi-trailer carrying a mobile artillery unit and damaged a road crossing.

It was earlier reported that in the Orenburg region of the Russian Federation, a freight train derailed and crashed into a building.
