Prince George Alexander Louis is second in line to the British throne after his father Prince William.
The eldest son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, 11-year-old Prince George, is already taking his first steps in aviation, reports The Sun.
On his last day of summer vacation, he made his first flight at an airfield in Berkshire under the supervision of an instructor. The flight was closely watched by her parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Prince George spent less than an hour in the air and landed safely. Eyewitnesses said the young heiress loved flying.
The royal family has strong aviation connections: George’s great-grandfather, Prince Philip, also trained at the airport. Prince William flew search and rescue helicopters after serving in the army, and Prince Harry was an Apache helicopter pilot in Afghanistan.
In addition, Kate’s parents worked in civil aviation: her mother was a flight attendant, and her father was an air traffic controller.
It was previously reported that Prince Harry will be presented as a “living legend” of aviation in an honorary ceremony at the Kiddie Hawk Air Academy in Beverly Hills.
