Three launchers will be provided soon. Meanwhile, other countries are looking for other components to move the complete Patriot system.
The Netherlands has transferred to Ukraine a radar for the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system. Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans said this, De Gelderlander reported yesterday.
He said recently that the Netherlands had sent Ukraine a radar for the Patriot and that three launchers would soon be transferred.
However, other countries are still looking for other parts to move the complete system.
“We’re still working on it,” Brekelmans said, adding that talks are underway with “several partners.”
It will be noted that one of the allies “will not fulfill the above obligation.” Which country refused the obligations is not indicated.
Let’s recall that at the end of May it became known that the Netherlands decided to assemble a Patriot battery for Ukraine. The Netherlands then said that they were ready to provide the main parts from their own reserves, and the rest should be provided by other countries.
