British actress Millie Bobby Brown is preparing for the film adaptation of her debut novel 19 steps.

According to Deadline, he will not only act as a producer, but he has already attracted Netflix’s attention to the project.

The novel, written by Brown in collaboration with author Kathleen McGurl, became a New York Times bestseller when it was released in September 2023. The plot of the book is based on the true life story of the actress’ grandmother during World War II . At the center of events is 18-year-old Nellie Morris from London and her beloved American pilot Ray.

Millie will not only produce a future film, but will also play the main role. The script will be written by four-time Oscar nominee Anthony McCarten. It is not yet known who will direct and who will play the role of Ray.
