After touring Berlin, Lisbon and New York, the play “Selvagem” returns to Rio de Janeiro (RJ) for a unique performance at Teatro Rival Petrobras, on August 21st. Acclaimed by critics since its premiere in May 2023, the queer show has enchanted audiences with its sensitive and authentic approach to the complexities of diversity since childhood.
“Selvagem” explores hidden childhood memories of children who do not fit into the gender and sexuality standards imposed by society, analyzing the consequences of this in adult life. Created and performed by Felipe Haiut, directed by Debora Lamm and movement direction by Denise Stutz, the project offers a unique perspective on LGBTQIA+ experiences.
