The actor was hospitalized in Ibiza after diving deep into a swimming pool and hitting his chest on the bottom of the pool.
Zac Efron was hospitalized in Ibiza over the weekend after his chest hit the bottom of a swimming pool, causing water to enter his lungs. TMZ reported it.
Insiders say the 36-year-old actor took a dip in the pool while having fun with friends on the Spanish island. After making contact with the bottom of the pool, Efron took “a large amount of water into his lungs.”
According to sources, after the incident, the actor “showed signs of ill health”, after which security personnel rushed to his aid.
Zach was “briefly shocked” and then taken to a medical facility “as a precautionary measure.”
Doctors X-rayed Efron’s chest, trying to determine that there was no water in his lungs.
Doctors examined Efron, but he was in no rush to leave the medical facility after a group of local photographers learned of his presence and gathered outside.
It was previously reported that American TV presenter Oprah Winfrey was hospitalized due to stomach problems.
