Ludmila Singa’s new single, “She is the Sound” celebrates women

Ludmila Singa releases her new single “Ela é o Som”, a tribute to women who make a difference and always seek a new tone. The song, which gained rhythm with the production of Johann D., has been available on all platforms since July 31st. Originally a poem recited by Ludmila in Slam das Minas battles since 2016, the track now incorporates an engaging fusion of rap and African rhythms, including percussions such as “Ilú”, dedicated to the orisha Oyá, and elements of afrobeats.

Inspired by artists such as Ary Lennox and Erykah Badu, Ludmila brings a soulful and empowering vibe to the single, which celebrates the unique melody of each woman, resonating determination and joy. The video, scheduled for August, promises to explore themes such as personal growth, impostor syndrome and the search for innovation and self-expression.

The production is a tribute to women’s resilience and wisdom, addressing internal and external struggles. With creative direction by Teka Ferrer, direction by Zanza, photography by Heder Novaes, styling by Sista Katia and hairstylist by Vizyonaria, the video promises to deepen the song’s powerful message.

The clip, scheduled for August, promises to explore themes such as personal growth, impostor syndrome and the search for innovation.
“She is the Sound” is here to convey that every woman has a unique melody that deserves to be celebrated,” commented Ludmila, excited about the release. The track, in addition to entertaining, provokes reflections and offers identification and motivation for women who work hard to become the best version of themselves – of course the LGBT+ community identifies.
