Ukrainian singer and group leader O.Torvald Zhenya Galich, who took up arms in defense of the country, shared his experience of serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Now he serves in Kyiv, but previously he held various military positions and visited the hottest places.
“At first I was drafted as a platoon commander. I had 26 people with us in preparation for the war. Then I had a position in the support group, I was an officer there. I was responsible for logistics and everything that goes with it Connected. Subsequently, Zhenya took the position of officer of military-civilian cooperation, where he had to talk to the parents of the victims and deliver their bodies.

Because of this experience, his psychological state was shaken. Galich admitted that he did not seek help from a psychotherapist and abused alcohol, which did not help him cope with his experiences.
