William will inherit the title Duke of Cornwall, which passes to the eldest son of the current monarch of the United Kingdom, at the end of 2022.
Prince William earned $30 million this year from his ownership of the Duchy of Cornwall. Page Six reports.
The Duchy of Cornwall, which the monarch’s eldest son will inherit from his father, King Charles III, when he comes to the throne in September 2022, has made £23.6 million ($30.4 million) on his investment, according to the latest combined annual reports. These funds cover the official, charitable and private expenses of the prince himself, his wife Kate Middleton and three children. Along with the estate, William received the title Duke of Cornwall.
King Charles III’s wealth increased by $12.7 million this year, bringing the total to $774 million.
It is worth recalling that the large estate, worth more than a billion dollars, was established in 1337 by King Edward III to provide funds for the heir to the throne for future generations.
It was previously reported that Prince William will star in an exclusive ITV documentary chronicling the first year of his campaign to end homelessness.
