As confirmed by Entertainment Weekly, the accident occurred on Sunday morning on the 10 freeway in the Jefferson Park area of Los Angeles (USA). In addition to Morphine, five other people were injured in the incident.
A statement posted on the Miami artist’s Instagram Story said, “Morphine was in a serious car accident while in an Uber. She suffered multiple injuries but is grateful to be alive. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. A little space and time is appreciated as she focuses on healing.”
Canada’s Drag Race star Kaos was also involved in the accident, as confirmed by Xunami Muse on Twitter. Kaos, who appeared on the third season of the Brooke Lynn-Hytes-hosted spin-off, was in the same car as Morphine.
Kaos posted a similar statement to Morphine, saying, “I’m fine, just on bed rest. I’ll make a post explaining what happened this weekend when I’m in the right frame of mind and can also explain everything about the accident. For now, I’m resting and sorry, I won’t be posting anything about DragCon right now, that will come out later, probably next week.”
