Los Angeles police investigating the death of Matthew Perry are on the trail of underground drug trafficking in Hollywood, Page Six reports.
A press conference is planned soon to announce possible charges.
Police questioned Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, about her friendship with Perry. The suspects also include another woman, a B-grade actress who has been close to Perry for years. They appear on screen together and are photographed in a doctor’s office prescribing ketamine.
An insider said access to the woman’s phone could reveal damaging information in the text messages.
Former CIA and FBI agent Tracy Walder said many people could be charged as part of a drug trafficking network that illegally shipped prescription drugs, a federal crime.
“The issue is intent. They obviously know what they’re doing is wrong [торгуя наркотиками]. However, did they know that by selling it they were going to kill him (Perry)?” Walder added.
