In the role of Lourenço, Pigossi plays an undocumented gay Brazilian immigrant living in Provincetown, Massachusetts. Working as a cleaner and facing the difficulties of building a new life, Lourenço discovers a completely new world. A twist occurs when he falls in love with Maurice, played by James Bland, leading him to reflect on the complexities of human relationships.
“High Tide” had a special screening in Provincetown, where it was written and filmed, and will be screened at the 48th San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival on the 28th of this month. So far, there is no information about the film’s release in commercial cinemas in Brazil.
