The incident happened as the princess walked her Gloucestershire estate on Sunday night with horses nearby. The medical team suggested that the injury could have been caused by a blow from the horse’s hoof or head.
Princess Anne is currently hospitalized at Southmead Hospital in Bristol. His recovery is expected to be “complete and speedy.”
“The King has been informed in detail of his heartfelt love and best wishes for a speedy recovery to the princess, she has joined the family circle,” the statement said.
It was previously reported that Duke Henri of Luxembourg announced that he intends to pass the throne to his son after a 24-year reign.
