When a full-scale war begins, 22-year-old Ivan Pelykh stands up to defend Ukraine. In his life before the war, he was involved in making videos and studying to become a director.
The son of Ukrainian journalist and TV presenter Igor Pelykh, who tragically died in a car accident in 2009, received an award from the Ministry of Defense. He wrote this on Instagram.
Ivan, who volunteered to fight at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, presented a photo of the award, which, judging by the photo, was signed by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov on April 24.
“This is all bullshit, of course, but can we have a better Glock award, please,” he wrote.
As you know, at the beginning of a full-scale war in Ukraine, Ivan Pelykh joined the terrorist defense of Kyiv. Subsequently, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the war years, Ivan Pelykh took part in battles in the direction of Lisichansk and Bakhmut, and now defends Ukraine in the Sumy region.
