The celebrity announced a fundraiser of $450,000 for a machine for humanitarian mine clearance.
During his visit to Ukraine, Hollywood actor Misha Collins announced a fundraiser for the demining of our country. The video was published on the official page of UNITED 24 in social networks.
In particular, the actor starred in a video where he introduced himself as the angel Castiel from the series Supernatural and announced the collection of $450 thousand for a humanitarian demining vehicle. The vehicle will assist deminers in more safely clearing areas and transporting explosive ordnance to disposal sites.
Among those donating, Collins will make a trench coat and five autographed ties – those worn by his character in the cult series.
“Our donations to buy this machine will not end the war, and it will not clear all the lands of Ukraine, but it will clear many thousands of unexploded mines and munitions and prevent hundreds of , if not thousands, of innocent Ukrainians, particularly women and children, from losing limbs or lives Even after the war, this will remain a significant problem, but small contributions will help to avoid the unspeakable suffering show, you can win a coat or tie with Castiel,” said the actor.
