At the time of his death, the actor was taking ketamine for depression and anxiety under medical supervision. The last time he was prescribed medication was a week and a half before his death.

Los Angeles police have opened a criminal investigation into the death of actor Matthew Perry. TMZ reported it.

In particular, law enforcement officials are trying to find the person who gave the actor ketamine, from which he died. The US Postal Inspection Service has suggested that police use the package tracking feature.

The investigation into the Friends star’s death has been ongoing for nearly six months. The police began to work after the toxicology report showed that the actor died due to the severe effects of ketamine.

Although the document noted that Matthew had been receiving ketamine therapy for mental health problems for more than a week before his death, the medical examiner determined that the dosage of the drug in his system at the time of death was more higher than the proposed treatment. This raises the question of whether he got it from some other non-medical source.

Close friends of the actor unanimously assured that the day before Matthew was in a good mood, sober, and even planned to establish a foundation to help people with addiction problems.

It was previously reported that actress Courteney Cox said that she still feels the presence of the late Matthew Perry.
