The singer Nemo immediately after his final performance, which concluded the Eurovision Song Contest, broke a crystal goblet.
The singer Nemo from Switzerland, winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, who asked to be identified in the third person plural, admitted that their crystal microphone was taken away from them.
When a participant in the show broke the official cup right on stage, the organizers gave him a spare one, but after a photo shoot and a press conference they took away the prize.
“We were given a new microphone when ours broke. Then they took it away because it wasn’t an official prize, but a spare,” Nemo said.
At the moment, the participant of the show does not know if the prize will be returned to him, because there is no clear promise. However, the team is working hard to get the cup back.
“We don’t know exactly what happened, but it’s not in my suitcase, so we’re working on finding it again. I really don’t know where it is now,” added Nemo.
