The night will feature 13 lip sync competitors, who will compete for the Nany People Trophy
The Fashion Mall Theater, in Rio de Janeiro, will host, for the first time, the Gay Dubbing Talent Competition, on Monday, June 10th, at 9pm. The contest, which has been running since 2006, is one of the most important in Rio de Janeiro’s LGBT+ calendar and, this year, will also be held during Pride Month.
The night will feature 13 lip sync competitors, who will compete for the Nany People Trophy. A panel of judges made up of celebrities and community figures will choose the winner.
After paying tribute to community figures and allies such as Deborah Secco, Glória Perez, Lilia Cabral, Matheus Solano and Vera Fischer in previous years, this time, the event will celebrate the actress and comedian Nany People, for all her commitment, trajectory and for his fight for the rights of the LGBT+ community.
The Gay Dubbing Talent Competition is directed by Kaká Silva, technical production and coordination by SSI Eventos and artistic production and presentation by Suellen Pinheiro.
“Our mission is to value diversity, with talents from the most varied genres and styles, who represent very well the great universe of our LGBTQIAPN+ community. It’s going to be a fun, charming night full of surprises”, says Kaká Silva.
