Sylvester Stallone is set to make a fortune by putting his watch collection up for auction.

The famous American actor Sylvester Stallone has put 11 of his rare expensive watches up for auction at Sotheby’s. TMZ reported it.

It is noted that in just 1 hour the artist will receive 5 million dollars, because the collection includes rare Swiss watches from a limited collection. All other copies can be sold for at least tens of thousands of dollars.

According to watch expert Nico Leonard van der Horst, Stallone’s most prized possession is the Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime, first introduced in 2014.

The last time the Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime came up for auction was when it sold for $31 million. This was in 2019.

The Rocky star said that the expensive accessory was not easy to get: “I had to go to several authorities, write many letters to the board of the company, and finally I got permission to own one of the beautiful pieces of this art.”

Experts also add that each Grandmaster Chime takes around 100,000 hours to produce from design to assembly.

It was previously reported that a 1977 Mercedes-Benz Unimog has been put up for auction at Barrett-Jackson in the United States.
