The super queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 9 took over the United States capital, Washington DC, on Monday, May 6th. They visited places such as the White House and the Lincoln Memorial, and even participated in interviews with DC media outlets.
The entire cast – Angeria Paris VanMicheals, Gottmik, Jorgeous, Nina West, Plastique Tiara, Roxxxy Andrews, Shannel and Vanessa Vanjie Mateo – was present at this moment that marked its history.
The new season premieres on Friday, May 17th on Paramount+.
Paying homage to RuPaul’s red, white and blue costume from his performance at the 1993 Gay and Lesbian March in Washington, D.C., the All Stars 9 queens were dressed in their patriotic looks to pose for photos and participate in an official panel promoting the new season.
They also met none other than the White House press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre – the first black woman and LGBT+ person to hold this position.
