Charles III had previously announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer. The disease was discovered during recent treatment for prostate enlargement.
Britain’s King Charles III has returned to his duties after being diagnosed with cancer. The Mirror reported this.
Along with Queen Camilla, the monarch visited Macmillan University College’s cancer center in London, where she met with staff and patients.
During the visit, he appeared relaxed and in good spirits, learned about the latest treatments, interacted with chemotherapy patients and met with the center’s staff.
“I’m fine, thank you,” Charles III said to one of the patients. He said he will treat her later.
The visit saw the King become the new patron of the charity Cancer Research UK. So, the monarch wants to raise awareness about the importance of early cancer diagnosis.
