The average dollar exchange rate in exchange offices for sale is 39.89 hryvnia, and the euro is sold at 42.91 hryvnia.
The hryvnia exchange rate was stable against the dollar and the euro at the beginning of the new month. It was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to market tracking data as of Wednesday, May 1.
The average dollar exchange rate on sale fell by 1 kopeck compared to the previous day and amounts to 39.89 Hryvnia. The euro exchange rate on sale added a penny and is now 42.91 hryvnia.
Today, exchangers bought dollars on average for 39.40 hryvnia (+10 kopecks compared to April 30), and euros for 42.40 hryvnia (+20 kopecks).
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 39.63-39.7 UAH/dollar (buying and selling). The dollar added 15 kopecks compared to the close of the interbank market the previous day.
The official dollar exchange rate on May 1 was set at 39.5151. This is 15 kopecks less than yesterday. The euro exchange rate is set at 42.3641 UAH (-13 kopecks).
Let us remind you that the National Bank does not see a threat to the stability of the foreign exchange market due to changes in the Hryvnia exchange rate. The regulator believes they have the market prerequisites. Meanwhile, during the month the dollar repeatedly updated records.
