Queen RuPaul will once again bring together a new and powerful cast of queens who are ready to compete and save the world in RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 9. The premiere will be on Friday, May 17th on Paramount+ – remembering that the date marks the International Day to Combat Homophobia.
According to a release from the production, the All Stars 9 queens will be “competing to win a massive $200,000 donation, provided by The Palette Fund, to a charity of their choice.”
In other words, “this season marks the first time in franchise history that the queens are competing for charity and leveraging their drag skills to earn money for a variety of organizations.”
It will be different: participants will not earn money for themselves, only for the charities they choose.
Kicking off with two all-new episodes on Friday, May 17, All Stars 9 will feature eight drag superstars returning to the Drag Race workroom and vying for a spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame.
