Ukrainian choreographer Alena Shoptenko suffered a leg injury as a result of an accident. Now he is waiting for surgery. The dancer announced this on Instagram.

“For those who want, destiny leads, but for those who don’t, it pulls. I felt it was time to slow down a little. Now I have no chance not to do it. Due to the accident, two torn ligaments of the joint of the knee in four and surgery a few days later. Then – two months of rehabilitation. I will not say how important my legs are for me and how I feel now, I have never had such an injury. However, There is I am confident that after a while everything will be the same, because I will at least do it for “All this is possible,” wrote Shoptenko.

He added that for the next two months he will definitely not work and there will be no classes or master classes, but he sees the situation that happened to him as an opportunity to finish something that he did not have enough time for.

“And again I am convinced that the most important thing is health and people. I am eternally grateful to my family and friends for their support, even if only words can heal. Conclusion: listening to yourself and in your body is a practice that it is advisable to take as early as possible, otherwise it will hit the most vulnerable,” concludes Shoptenko.
