British screenwriter David Seidler, known for The King’s Speech, died at the age of 86. It was reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

“David is in the place he loves most in the world – New Zealand, doing what gave him the greatest peace of mind – fly fishing. If he had such an opportunity, everything would be exactly as he wrote in the script. , ” said the screenwriter’s manager, Jeff Agassi.
According to him, Seidler continued to enjoy screenwriting and at the time of his death had several documentaries, miniseries and feature films in development.
David Seidler was born in 1937, grew up in London, and then moved with his family to New York. He started his career as a screenwriter in 1970.
