The actress said that she has not seen her daughter since the beginning of the full Russian invasion.
Ukrainian actress Olga Sumskaya said what citizenship her daughter Antonina Papernaya has. He said this in a comment on Lux FM.
“We haven’t seen each other for more than two years. I don’t know how this is going to happen. It’s impossible right now. My soul is filled with despair, tormenting and devouring. Because I read these terrible comments… I have no right to justify anyone to prove something, do you know why? Because there are grieving mothers, there are people who have lost everything. So these words have nothing to give. Only people who have relatives – children there will understand. And this is also the most terrible tragedy,” said the star.
He commented in his interview in 2014, when he said that his son intended to renounce Ukrainian citizenship and get a Russian passport. Then in an interview, he also said that he paid more than 5 million rubles for the opportunity to get a Russian passport.
“It was a terrible interview, in my opinion. We did not understand what it meant. Every word had to be weighed and controlled. No one paid any rubles. There was a situation 10 years ago when when it is necessary to urgently issue a passport, and maybe they used such methods, but it’s not about me and not about my daughter. I’m a Ukrainian with a Ukrainian passport. I don’t even ask if she has a Russian passport. I don’t talk to my daughter about these topics, because it is a very painful disease. I just want to hug her and my grandchildren. They are growing up. They should see their grandmother, I want to give them all of myself,” said Sumskaya.
