Peugeot will revive its cheapest model

Peugeot plans to return to the market the mass budget model 103. It is not a car, but a compact scooter, because the French brand also produces two-wheeled vehicles, writes L’Argus.

The Peugeot 103 moped was produced from 1971 to 2017 and more than 3 million were produced in total.

The new Peugeot 103 will be released in 2025 and will be electric. Its harbinger is the Peugeot SPx concept. Its design retains the features of its famous ancestor, although the style of the new model is rougher. It has a massive front fork and a plastic fairing with chopped lines.

The Peugeot SPx electric scooter is equipped with LED optics and a digital instrument panel. It is slowed by disc brakes.

The characteristics of the Peugeot 103 have not yet been revealed. Three versions of the moped are planned: one will compete with 50 cc petrol scooters, and two with 125 cc. Available in single and dual battery options.
