The actor who voiced Mogwai in the film Gramlins died aged 64 on Saturday, March 2.
American dubbing actor Mark Dodson has passed away at the age of 64. TMZ reported it.
His daughter Ciara said he died while in Evansville, Indiana, at the Horror Con festival. Doctors said he suffered a massive heart attack while sleeping.
He also added that Dodson loves his fans very much and is always happy to rush to meet them. However, this time this meeting did not happen.
It will be remembered that Mark Dodson was born on February 1, 1960.
Mark’s first big break came in 1983 when he voiced Salacious Crumb in Return of the Jedi, a character known for his high-pitched voice. A year later, he was cast as the voice of Mogwai in Gramlins.
He returned to the Gramlins universe in 1990 to voice the titular character in Gramlins 2: The New Batch. The actor also worked on the 1985 horror film Day of the Dead and then appeared in Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015.
