The final of the 71st Miss World 2024 International Beauty Pageant will take place on March 9 in India.
Russia was not allowed to participate in the Miss World beauty contest. The head of the organizing committee of Miss Ukraine, Veronika Shchiptsova, announced this on Instagram.
According to him, the organizers responded to Ukraine’s appeal not to allow Russian representatives to participate in any international competitions.
“Friends, I wanted to share this news later and personally thank the head of the Miss World competition for it. But today on social networks I saw a terrible act of a Russian woman in another contest in beauty and I cannot remain silent. One of the Ukrainian women in the world competition was humiliated by a representative of the aggressor country “Many people sent me this video and asked about the reaction of our committee,” said by Shchiptsova.
He added that the Ukrainian organizing committee, at the beginning of the whole Russian invasion of Ukraine, requested not to allow the aggressor country to participate in beauty contests in which the Ukrainian committee cooperates.
