Tamerlan, a member of the Ukrainian duo TamerlanAlena, who is currently defending Ukraine at the front, said he was thinking about mobilizing women. He said this in an interview with OBOZ.UA.
In particular, the artist, who from the first days of the great war volunteered to defend the Motherland, noted that she saw many women fighting. And they are very good in their field. However, there is no need for forced mobilization.
“I have seen many women at war. They are very competent, very deep in what they do. But how are we still raised? That a woman is the keeper of the family hearth, that a woman is really not for in the war. I’m sure it’s not really possible to make forced mobilization, while many women live in military activities and find themselves in it,” he said.
Tamerlan also believed that women would do something behind the scenes. At the same time, he noted that many female representatives would go to war for their own reasons.
“I also know many couples who fight in the same unit. There is such a story. So this is what every person chooses, regardless of your gender,” the musician concluded.
