Lordi won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 with 292 points. This was Finland’s first Eurovision victory.
The group Lordi, who won the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 from Finland, called on the world to help Ukrainian animals. This was reported by the animal protection organization UAnimals.
In particular, the frontman of the hard rock band recorded a video message in which he said that the members of the band support our country in the war with Russia. However, not only people, but also four-legged friends suffer from the attack of the aggressor country.
“Ukraine is fighting right now for its freedom, and we support this beautiful country! It’s not just people who are suffering. Innocent animals are suffering too. Our friends at UAnimals are doing very important things to help animals and save them in times of war,” – said Finnish musician Tommy Putaansuu.
He also encourages you to join the UAnimals fundraiser for building a Pegasus shelter. There are plans to build a hospital there to treat horses injured during a massive war.
It was previously reported that stars were placed on the Hollywood Walk of Fame dedicated to animals in Ukraine that are on the verge of extinction.
