The dollar exchange rate began to decline in the interbank foreign exchange market. And the rate of growth of the American currency in exchange offices has slowed down, reports RBC-Ukraine, citing monitoring data on Thursday, February 22.
Thus, the average selling rate of the dollar increased by 5 kopecks to 38.85 hryvnia. In turn, the euro rose significantly in price – by 15 kopecks to 42.20 hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 38.35 UAH, and euros for 41.50 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency rate is at the level of 38.52 – 38.59 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – a decrease of 6 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
In turn, the National Bank of Ukraine increased the dollar exchange rate to a record level for the third day – at the level of 38.6237 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.1481 UAH). The euro today is worth 41.7213 UAH (+0.1792 UAH).
