American singer Usher and his longtime girlfriend, 40-year-old Jennifer Goicochea, tied the knot in Las Vegas on February 11 after performing at the Super Bowl. A source close to the couple told People magazine about it.
According to the publication, the couple received a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada, just three days before the singer’s performance in the football league finals. According to the documents, the couple’s witness to the painting was Usher’s mother, Johnetta Patton.
“We can confirm that Usher and Jennifer Goicochea have taken the next step in their relationship and were married Sunday night in Las Vegas surrounded by close friends and family,” said a rep for the singer.
For the gala, Goicochea wore a crisp white pantsuit with an off-the-shoulder blazer, while Usher wore a floor-length white fur coat over a black tuxedo.
The singer himself has not yet commented on the news of his marriage.
It can be recalled that Goicoechea worked in the music industry for many years and crossed paths with Usher several times before they became romantic. Rumors of their romance surfaced in June 2019.
