The family of late Euphoria actor Angus Cloud is facing a $310,000 lawsuit from the star’s former assistant over unpaid wages. The Daily Mail reported this.
The celebrity died at the age of 25 on July 31 last year at his family’s home in Oakland, California, of an overdose of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl and benzodiazepines, authorities said.
He died intestate, so his mother Lisa applied to administer his estate last year, asking to be named sole administrator.
However, he is now being attacked by creditors and creditors of the late Angus Cloud.
In the latest case, the actor’s former assistant claims he is owed $310,000 for his work.
In court documents, the lender said they were not paid for work between September 2021 and July 2023, totaling $115,000.
The aide also told the court that Cloud owed another $80,000 in unpaid commissions, based on 10 percent of Cloud’s income, for a total of $195,000.
The claim comes after the actor’s former manager, Diomi Cordero, alleged in another lawsuit that Angus owes him nearly $95,000 in unpaid commissions.
Cordero said Angus stopped paying commissions “without proper justification” shortly before his death – claiming the actor owed him $94,770 in unpaid commissions from multiple Hollywood jobs.
The documents revealed that Cordero and Angus entered into an agreement to pay the latter a 10 percent commission, but the late star reneged on the contract in early 2022.
Also, many banks are demanding that the actor’s mother pay off his debts.
