“I’m afraid to drive. My brother crashed a car in front of me when I was eight or nine years old. I remember he was wearing a red coat. Speaking of red! But for me, time stopped. It was traumatizing I really because I saw him passed out and I was numb in the hospital, telling people: “Oh, my brother just got hit by a car,” Penelope Cruz shared her memories.
The star added that if another similar accident happened in his sight, “he would start to go hysterical.” After all, he was among the people with a very high level of empathy, so he needed a lot of time to come to his senses.
“I’m lucky to have this empathy, but on the other hand, I struggle more and more. It’s like hypersensitivity in all its forms – visual, auditory, to people’s feelings. This is one of the main issues that I solved during the psychotherapy ,” concluded the actress.
