The hatchback will stop production in March, as the model is more than 10 years old. It will be replaced by a more modern electric car.
The Renault Zoe electric car will be discontinued. Production of the hatchback is planned to be completed by March 30. Autombile Propre reports.
The Renault Zoe will only be available in fixed trim levels until 2024.
Zoe is the brand’s most popular electric car. About 400 thousand hatchbacks have been produced. It has been in production since 2013, so it is in need of a replacement.
It is known that the Zoe will be replaced by the Renault 5 electric car. The premiere of the production version of the hatchback will take place in February this year at the Geneva auto show. It will have a chopped design in the style of the first Renault 5 from the 70s.
The starting price of the model is about 25,000 euros.
We remind you that Renault previously announced the release of a budget crossover.
