Samuel Theis has been accused of raping a crew member of his new film Je Le Jure.
French actor Samuel Theis, who starred in the film Anatomy of a Fall, was accused of rape while filming Je Le Jure. It is reported by different types.
The incident reportedly took place in the summer of 2023 after a party took place in the apartment with the cast and crew in attendance. The victim said in the lawsuit that she was drunk when she consented to Theis having sex with her in an apartment rented by a production company in Metz, France.
Although Theis said the relationship was consensual, the film’s producer, Caroline Bonmarchand, took action and removed the screen star from the set, controlling her remotely.
An agreement was reached and Samuel agreed to this protocol to complete filming.
Filming ended in July. After this, a member of the film crew filed a police report against Theis. But the actor’s lawyer, Marie Doze, told the publication that she was not aware of a formal complaint and had not been contacted about the ongoing investigation.
“The only investigation in this case was commissioned by the production and carried out by an independent organization. It arrived in September and contains 300 pages – the conclusion is that there are no elements that would qualify what happened as sexual assault,” commented Twelve.
He added that the report included testimony from a witness who entered the room where Theis and the accuser were and described it as a “tender moment.”
It was previously reported that the actor’s former assistant Vin Diesel filed a lawsuit against him, claiming he sexually harassed her in 2010.
