Ukrainian singer Mika Newton and her husband, American Chris Saavedra, who returned from the United States to Ukraine for the first time since the beginning of the war, were under enemy fire. He announced this on his Instagram page.
In particular, the artist said that he returned home on December 28, and has been subjected to two massive Russian attacks on December 29 and January 2. He called on the world to unite for the victory of our country.
“Happy New Year from Ukraine. We arrived here on December 28, and on the 29th Ukraine destroyed more than 150 missiles… This is the biggest attack on Ukraine since the beginning of the war. I have no words to describe it all. Sirens, sounds of explosions … My heart aches for all Ukrainians today. I can’t believe that the world is doing nothing about this horror within it’s been two years now. Ukraine needs help as soon as possible,” the star wrote.
Mika Newton also showed the consequences of enemy attacks, noting that no one wants to go through what the Ukrainians are going through.
“You don’t want to go through the same thing… Trust me. We have to come together and do something about it. Your country could be next,” Newton said.
