More than two thousand lights were used to decorate the main royal tree for the Christmas holidays.
The main Christmas tree was placed in St. George’s Hall at Windsor Castle. It is seven meters high. This is reported on the Royal Collection Trust page.
The festive exhibition in the castle is dedicated to the 675th anniversary of the Order of the Garter – the oldest order of knighthood in Great Britain. It was founded in 1348.
More than two thousand lights were used to decorate the main royal tree for the Christmas holidays. At the top of the tree is a star symbolizing the Order.
Seven more Christmas trees were placed in different rooms of the castle.
We remind you that in Ukraine, trees for the Christmas holidays are planted in special “New Year” plantations, located in each region. This year, prices for Christmas trees will be the same as in 2022. On average, one meter of wood costs 135 Hryvnia. The price may vary depending on the region.
