After the presenter filed a police report against her ex-husband, Alexandre spoke about the matter
After denying that he had attacked Ana Hickmann, Alexandre Correa revealed that he lied in his statement and confirmed his wife’s reports.
Last Saturday, the 11th, Ana registered a police report against Alexandre Correa and stated that she suffered attacks and was a victim of domestic violence during an argument at the couple’s residence in Itu, in the interior of São Paulo.
In conversation, Alexandre acknowledged that he denied having assaulted his wife when questioned by journalist Leo Dias: “When I saw that note, I went into total despair and denied it. Did you lie? I lied. Period. Or did I omit the fact? I omitted it.”
“I was on a road, desperate, bewildered. I was lost. I said: ‘Oh my God. What?’ Excuse the vocabulary: ‘What a mess that happened. Why didn’t I argue, why didn’t I get up from the table, why didn’t I go to the corner, didn’t I go get some water? Why didn’t I go and hit my head on the table? wall? I don’t know. But it’s already gone”, he said in an interview with Splash UOL.
Alexandre also classified the discussion as a “disintelligence between couples” and stated that he was panicked by the repercussions and the possibility of being arrested.
However, contrary to what the presenter said in the police report, Alexandre denied that he threatened to headbutt Ana or pin her to the wall: “The only thing that doesn’t happen is the headbutt situation. That doesn’t exist. That bias, that doesn’t exist.”
During the interview, the businessman revealed that he has not yet spoken to Ana after what happened and the presenter is the one who will decide on a possible conversation and the future of their relationship: “Ana is the one who decides. I don’t decide anything.”
