Arnold Schwarzenegger admitted that at the beginning of his acting career he competed with action star Sylvester Stallone. He spoke about it on the Graham Norton show, the New York Post wrote.
“We were film rivals and we took the competition to the extreme. We had to have the best body, we had to ‘kill’ more people in our films, and we had to have the strongest weapons,” he explained.
The former governor of California also added that at one point their rivalry got out of control, but later they resolved all disputes:
“When we both invested in Planet Hollywood, we started flying around the world together to promote it and became amazing friends,” Schwarzenegger concluded.
