Isis was not the first artist to have her images used inappropriately on the internet. Last week, the actress Vera Fischer discovered that his photos were being used criminally on a website that offers adult content abroad.
In addition to Isis and Vera, Carolina Dieckmann intimate photos were leaked in 2012 and, in January of that year, the actress participated in Altas Horas and recalled the case, which was investigated by the police, and the trial she suffered at the time.
“I sent some intimate photos to my husband. Someone who was trying to find out bank details found some photographic files. They were semi-nude photos and they started sending them to pornographic sites. This was outside Brazil and someone recognized it was me. Then, the person tried to extort me”, he said.
“I didn’t pay, I went to the police station and the photos were leaked. I went back to the police station, I admitted that I did that (photos). At that time, I was judged a lot. I think today it wouldn’t be so much. ‘But why are you sending photos to the your husband?'”, he stated.
In 2012, Law 12,737/2012, known as the Carolina Dieckmann Law, inserted into the criminal code the crime of hacking a computer device, that is, cell phones, notebooks, tablets, etc. It was then that the first law emerged that aimed to protect individual information and data in the digital environment.
Before this Law, access to private devices was not considered a crime, but rather a preparatory offense, therefore, these practices were unpunishable. With the Carolina Dieckmann Law, the practice began to be treated as a crime.
