Ukrainian singer Vitaly Kozlovsky invited ex-producer Igor Kondratyuk to conclude a settlement agreement to end their long-term conflict. The corresponding video appeared on the artist’s Instagram page.
According to him, for many years his former producer refused to meet with him, despite the fact that representatives of both parties also talked and even reached an agreement.
“All these years you’ve refused offers to meet in person and resolve the conflict. And you’ve accused me of being ungrateful and leaving like a scumbag without an agreement. But you and I know that’s not the case. I tried to reach out an agreement at the stage of termination of cooperation. And at the stage of the courts. Our representatives contacted you. And even a partial agreement was reached. But all these talks ultimately did not yield anything because in your categorical refusal to meet and personally record our agreements,” he said.
At the same time, Kozlovsky made it clear that the world war was not about “forgotten debts.” In his understanding, it consists of several stages:
“We, as mature, conscious people, return to the point where the conflict began and end it as human beings by concluding a peace agreement. Within the framework of the agreements already initiated by the representatives once. To avoid manipulation of deadlines, I will explain. Peace – it is not about “forgotten debts.” In my proposal, the agreement consists of the following steps: 1. Meeting and agreement 2. Payment according to court decisions on certain payments within two years, taking into account the current circumstances in the country 3. Resolution of the issue of further acquisition of rights to individual songs from the old repertoire. 4. We shake hands, consider this conflict settled and never return to it again,” suggested the singer.
The defender also emphasized that he was trying to be an example of an honorable and humane conclusion to the possible cooperation of an artist and a producer.
“If your goal is to resolve the issue legally, protect your copyrights, receive funds within the framework of court decisions and stop the fights, I’m sure we will reach an agreement and end it with dignity,” the artist concluded.
