The leading Italian-French model, singer and former first lady of France Carla Bruni said for the first time that she was diagnosed with breast cancer. He revealed the secret on Instagram.
Bruni admitted that four years ago she was diagnosed with a tumor in her breast.
“Four years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Surgery, radiation therapy, hormone therapy – I followed the usual treatment paths for this type of cancer. But I was lucky – my cancer was not yet aggressive,” Bruni said.
He urged women not to neglect regular examinations by a mammologist.
“Why isn’t this cancer aggressive? Because it doesn’t have time to be like this. Because every year, on the same day, I get a mammogram. If I didn’t do it every year, I don’t have breasts. Now. I don’t get it- post to tell you the details about my health. I am disgusted by this and I hesitated for a long time before speaking. I am posting this now because I have one message to convey. This is an important message for all women follows me: get a mammogram every year,” added Bruni.
