Italian car brand Alfa Romeo is developing a new electric sports car. It will be the successor to the lightweight 4C Roadster and will feature a stylish design and long range. Autocar writes about it.
The sports car will be called 4E, which will indicate the electric power plant of the new product.
“The electric sports car will arrive after the brand launches five new cars. Therefore, the model may not debut until 2027. The Alfa Romeo 4E will be based on the STLA Medium platform. It supports batteries with a capacity of up to 100 kWh, which can provide a range of up to 805 km on a single charge,” said Alfa Romeo Product Manager Daniel Guzafame.
It is also known that sports cars can be equipped with several electric motors with a total power of up to 1000 hp.
