He said that since the start of the war, his income has decreased and sometimes his expenses exceed his income.
The presenter of the 1+1 TV channel Marichka Padalko admitted that her income changed after the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine. He spoke about this in an interview with Slava Demin.
The presenter said that in 2017 Padalko declared 500 thousand hryvnia income per year. At that time, her husband Yegor Sobolev was a representative of the people of Ukraine.
“Now, six years later, your income has at least quadrupled?” – asked Demin.
“No, of course, it did not increase. I declared my income as the wife of a town representative. At work, it is not customary to talk about salary. The declaration indicates income without tax. I am very uncomfortable that people may think that I earn a lot,” – Padalko said.
“If 500 thousand is divided by 12 months, then it is 40 thousand hryvnias,” continued Demin.
“I didn’t earn nearly that much then. Do I earn four times more now? No, I think I earn the same level in hryvnia now,” Padalko added.
The star admitted that he has been a sole proprietor for the past three or four years.
“If I have invitations where they pay money, to act somewhere, to hold some kind of seminar somewhere, some kind of advertising offers – all this goes through a single ownership, I pay taxes. I was successful in 2021 “I am proud of myself as an individual entrepreneur,” said the presenter.
He added that his monthly income now does not reach two thousand dollars.
“Sometimes I spend more on individual entrepreneurs than I earn, because I pay taxes. Now I provide for my family. Yegor (who serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine) has a large salary, but he doesn’t spend it. It gives savings,” added the TV presenter.
We remind you that earlier in the live broadcast, Padalko’s front tooth was removed. The presenter spoke about his feelings.
