The event will be held on October 14th at Complexo da Penha, in Rio de Janeiro
He doesn’t stop! Rennan da Penha announced the date of the second edition of the LGBTQIAP+ Parade in Complexo da Penha, in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro.
He confirmed that the event will be held on October 14th and will feature musical attractions with free entry.
Rennan said that BATEKOO will be part of the organization of the second edition of the event. He also added that Danny Bond will be one of the attractions present in the Penha Complex
“This year BATEKOO will be involved with us in this project and we can expect some names from their line-up [Batekoo] present at our event. We can list Danny Bond, Savanah, DJ Neri as attractions and we are trying to make contact with Pepita, so she can be present again. And of course, the space is free, so whoever wants to participate comes”said the DJ who was nominated for a Latin Grammy.
The DJ and producer from Rio also talked about what the public can expect from the new edition of the event.
“You can expect total freedom for this edition, as was the case in the first edition. Feel at home, it will be an environment for all audiences, you can call your cousin, aunt, grandmother who will be the animal (laughs)”he said.
Rennan also revealed that he feels like holding editions of the event in other locations.
“I hope to increasingly create spaces like this within the community and also take this atmosphere of the Complexo da Penha LGBTQIAP+ Parade to other places”said the music producer who has already recorded with Pablo Vittar, Pocah, Rebecca, Anita It is Lexa.
The 1st edition of the event took place in 2019 and the motivation for DJ Rennan da Penha, pioneers of 150BPM funk, to hold the first edition of the event was to notice homophobic and transphobic behavior on the part of the public in relation to the presence of the LGBTQIAP+ public in funk.
