“In connection with another scandal that occurred among our “colleagues”, we made an important decision – to rebrand. We boycott: any kind of sexual claims, unprofessionalism, connection with the occupying country, no ethical statements about contest participants. Not all people are the same. So are brands. So are beauty contests,” the message said.

“So that from now on the actions of colleagues can no longer be associated with our competition, we are changing the name of our competition to Miss Universe Ukraine / Miss Universe Ukraine. We want to continue to have the opportunity to glorify Ukraine on the international stage and tell the truth about the war,” the organizers concluded.
