The Italians presented a unique supercar

The Italian company Ares Modena presented the new supercar S1 Gullwing. The model has a unique design and is based on the Chevrolet Corvette C8, reports Top Gear.

The car has unusual headlights, multiple air intakes in the bumper and a carbon splitter.

At the rear there are narrow lights combined into one block. Exhaust pipes exit from the engine compartment.

But the most important feature of the Ares S1 Gullwing is the gullwing door that opens upwards. The developers noted that it simplifies the loading and unloading of the driver and his passenger in a narrow space.

The supercar is equipped with a 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine that produces 600 hp. and 640 Nm of torque, as well as an 8-speed automatic transmission with two clutches.

It accelerates to 100 km/h in 3 seconds. Maximum speed – 296 km/h.

The body is made from carbon fiber, so the supercar weighs only 1,380 kg.
